Every now and then, I'll come across a quote that sinks and impacts me in a powerful way and gets me to think about life and what man aims for in his life. I'd like to share a few quotes that I've collected over the last year or so and a special section for the various quotes that begin a single chapter in many of the Dune novels.

"I've been taught how to play the game - how to go through my progressions, how to be patient, how to stay balanced, how to stay down when I throw, discipline. That's something I've been taught; it's something that I'm going to continue to improve on; and it can't be taken away from me. I'm only going to get better." - Michael Vick after NFL 2010 Playoffs
"You can't let praise or criticism get to you. It's a weakness to get caught up in either one." - John Wooden
